Perform technical and feasibility analysis, and assess ability to deliver on business requirements. Support MuleSoft architecture process including system, process and experience APIs. Architect Enterprise API and integration strategy across different applications, including Epic and Salesforce. Monitor and project costs associated with Mulesoft application usage and architecture. Develop unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality. Participate in developing specifications such as user stories and designs. Solve or recommend solutions for complex issues and problems. Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications. Document design, issue, solutions, tips & tricks as needed. Foster a team approach to software development and delivery. Stay current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.   Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three (3) years of experience in the following: MuleSoft development, integrations and customizations; Java development and concepts, including debugging against Java APIs; JEE Application Servers and Containers including administration, deployment, and/or development in Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Spring; providing technical solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high‐tech services using JEE and/or JSE framework; SalesForce integration with MuleSoft; explaining complex technical issues, including architectural strategy and technical issues/challenges to management and non-technical staff; and development in a reusable API architecture that emphasizes the use system, process and experience APIs. Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.   Epic Technical Lead Full-Time-Hybrid based in NYC    Overview:   The Epic Technical Team Lead role at the Hospital for Special Surgery is responsible for leading technical support for our Epic electronic health record system.  The Team Lead will help identify best practices, manage environment strategy, troubleshoot technical issues, manage business continuity and disaster recovery strategy and serve as the liaison between our Epic Hosting partners and the HSS Epic Application Teams on key initiatives.   Responsibilities: - Epic Technical Support including: - System freezes - Chart locks - Monitoring of trends in performance - Monitoring/supervision of Hosting teams - Root Cause Analysis (RCA) follow-ups to verify process improvements - Browser + Network Whitelisting - Tickets/Escalations/Queue Management - Epic System Updates, Client Packs, Release Authorizations - Workstation and Printer Configuration - IT Lead for Downtime/Business Continuity (BCA): - BCA Strategy - BCA Audit/drills - BCA Monitoring (System Pulse/Kuiper) - Disaster recovery planning for Epic - Alternate/Backup Access + Emergency Public Access Gateway to Epic - Epic Cyber Security Initiatives: - Aiding in quarterly Epic Security Audits - Facilitating the implementation of Epic security fixes - Facilitating the implementation of Epic application enhancements to further secure our environment - Help Desk + Epic Network Operations Center (NOC) process improvement and drills - Audits + Annual Benchmarking survey
