We will count on you to stay abreast of current industry trends affecting the recruitment and retention of qualified, nursing professionals, as well as currently mandated labor laws and regulatory compliance issues regarding selection.   Based in HR, you will collaborate with Nursing and related stakeholders to lead, develop and implement sourcing strategies and recruitment plans designed to attract, hire and retain RN and support staff who thrive in a culture of excellence with adherence to best-practice standards. Duties will include recruitment of top-tier exempt and non-exempt Nursing candidates across the continuum of clinical, nursing education, nursing research, informatics and leadership.   As a Recruiter, you will develop candidate pipelines and help select top talent for the following job categories: Staff RN and Advanced Practice Nurses, Nurse Residents, Nurse Externs, LPN’s and Allied Health support staff such as PCA, Registrar, Surgical Tech, Central Supply Tech, Cast Tech and Equipment Tech professionals.   As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a subject matter expert to your client group, providing coaching and guidance to hiring managers in the objective and sensible referral of top candidates for employment.

Temporary Position HR DATA ANALYST   In this temporary role you will be relied upon to provide outstanding customer service: responding competently to a high volume of requests, trouble-shooting benefit time allotment and pay issues, querying data to generate reports, performing analysis of employee records for reconciliation, entering employee transactions into Lawson HRIS which may include salary changes, terminations, new hires, position changes etc.     Qualifications and Education Requirements - Minimum of two years experience in a busy HR department, with a concentration in HRIS & Compensation Systems. - Proficiency in Lawson or similar HRIS coupled with fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel) will be essential. - A demonstrated ability to analyze & support HRIS system interfaces such as iCIMS Applicant Tracking, - Halogen Performance Management, Benefit Systems interfaces or other interfaces as required. - Experience with electronic file management and automated HR process flows is a plus and preferred. - A solid customer service orientation, superior organizational skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels, and excellent verbal/written communication skills will be crucial to your success in this role. - Bachelors Degree in related field required. Previous hospital or healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives. Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development. Develops and updates standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning information; generates standard and custom reports and provides documentation as requested. Participates in the annual SABA LMS upgrade and testing. Assists with creation of training materials and/or communication for Saba upgrades.   User Management - Maintain user security and permissions in Saba and provide administrator training. - Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts. - Manages course enrollment including progress tracking. - Create monthly badge scanning spreadsheet for Nursing.   Course Management - Updates attendance for all in-person and virtual learning sessions. - Creates and manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer. - Manages tracking of course revisions and history.   Troubleshooting - Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses. - Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems. - Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services. - Liaises with IAM to address any issues that arise regarding the Lawson/IAM/Saba interface. Manage automatic enrollment of NEO modules through IAM.   eLearning   General - Updates and maintains the departmental intranet site. - Maintains inventory of all training materials, supplies, giveaways and equipment. Articulate/eLearning - Project manager for the annual online modules process. - Develops and implements (in Articulate Storyline) all annual in-services and update NEO modules; liaise with SMEs to receive updated content. - Develops and implements (in Articulate Storyline) one-off departmental specific modules and manager one-off training needs. - Develops and implements soft-skills training modules as requested; converts existing content to assist in the creation and maintenance of an on-demand training library. New Employee Orientation - Manages New Employee Orientation (NEO), including scheduling and setup tasks, day-of-event logistical support, updating materials and other assistance as needed. - Presents on eLearning at NEO and explains how to access the LMS. - Presents on eLearning at New Leadership Orientation and explains how managers can utilize the LMS. - Checks that all new hires are added to Saba, enrolled in correct modules, do not have duplicative e-mail accounts, and complete Orientation modules. Performs other duties as assigned.

You will also work closely with a variety of HR colleagues and customers including Employee Relations, Benefits, Payroll, Occupational Health and outside vendors in managing the FMLA, NY Paid Family Leave, Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Workers’ Compensation programs. You will administer the payroll for all employees on approved leaves of absences, ensuring payments consistent with policy and applicable laws.  In addition, you will serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers with inquiries regarding Hospital Leave policies and individual Disability and Paid Family Leave claims. You will provide support, address questions or issues regarding leaves of absence and other benefits to employees and managers.
