Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.   Clinical Nutritionist I - Inpatient Casual   Position Summary   Successful candidate will support the clinical nutrition team at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients including but not limited to adult/pediatric nutrition assessment and re-assessment, malnutrition identification and management, nutrition support administration, nutrition education, and discharge planning.   Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nutrition care to inpatients according to medical condition and nutrition needs - Develop treatment plan to promote wound healing after surgery and maintenance - Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communications - Provide nutrition education and counseling Skills/Attributes required - Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service and ability to communicate with all team members to resolve problems - Ability to take initiative, work independently and efficiently - Strong clinical and critical thinking skills - Ability to handle heavy workload with good time management skills and efficiency - Experience with Epic and CBORD (Foodservice Suite) preferred

Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.     Clinical Nutritionist – Outpatient Casual (19.5)   Schedule Days: 3 days/week – Tuesday, Wednesday and flexible 3rd day Hours: 8 am – 4 pm Location: Hybrid – onsite at HSS Main Hospital (535 E. 70th Street) and remote   Position Summary Successful candidate will support the Food and Nutrition Department at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive outpatient nutrition care onsite, to meet our patients’ needs.   Position Skills/Requirements - Strong clinical, critical thinking and communication skills - Ability to take initiative, working independently and efficiently, with good time management skills - Responsibilities include: - Treating patients both in-person and virtually - Establishing and providing ongoing care - Post-discharge phone calls to patients diagnosed with malnutrition during their inpatient admission, and facilitating transition to outpatient care as needed - Experience with Epic preferred
