Assistant Vice President & Director of the HSS Center for the Advancement Value in Musculoskeletal Care   Summary   The Director of the HSS Center for the Advancement of Value in Musculoskeletal Care is responsible to track, forecast, and facilitate the highest level of performance for HSS on publicly reported quality/value ratings/rankings.  The Director will assist the Chief Value Medical Officer in developing the enterprise value strategy and proposition for external and internal stakeholders.  As the world leader in musculoskeletal health, HSS has consistently demonstrated exemplar performance on numerous measures of health care quality/value and is committed to further improve the quality/value of care delivered at HSS while advancing the science and meaningfulness of performance measurement.  The Director will report to the Chief Value Medical Officer in a highly visible role interacting regularly with the CEO, the Chiefs of Surgery and Medicine, Service Chiefs, and the Quality department.  It is expected that the Director will engage regularly with external quality assessment entities, participating as appropriate on national committees and advisory groups.  Position will be as Senior Director or Assistant Vice President pursuant to experience.   The Director will: - Maintain deep knowledge of external performance programs, their component measures and the data sources from which scores are calculated. - Track/forecast HSS performance on programs. - Analyze internal and external factors that impact performance scores and formulate improvement plans consistent with HSS Care standards. - Manage, distribute and enhance the reporting of performance data to relevant stakeholders, collaborating with the Operational Excellence and Information Technology teams to develop accessible, actionable and streamlined reporting. - Work with leaders across HSS to ensure best possible performance, consistent with HSS care standards, on externally reported performance by - Facilitating the Performance Steering Committee, composed of clinical and operational leaders, to identify improvement opportunities and oversee the successful implementation of quality improvement plans. - Providing project management for interdisciplinary performance enhancement teams. - Work with national performance measures organizations to advance the science and meaningfulness of performance measurement. - Track and analyze proposed changes to programs and engage with program developers to provide constructive feedback on changes proposed by the agencies and any other changes that would enhance the reliability or validity of measures/programs. - Seek out opportunities to participate on committees/advisory groups of national performance assessment entities. - Assist the Chief Value Medical Officer in the development of a vision for long-term performance excellence at HSS main campus and at satellite locations as HSS grows. - Maintain the HSS Value Proposition library which is used by the CEO, CMO, CVMO, CFO and other senior leaders to advance the value of HSS to external stakeholders.   The ideal candidate will have a passion for health care quality, fluency in all aspects of performance measures/measurement and the interest to engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote the production of the highest quality care and the development of measurement programs that support this mission.  The role requires extensive collaboration and the ability to translate sometimes complex analyses to stakeholders in order to affect change.

Manager, Strategic Projects & Communications Office of the President & CEO   HSS, the world leader in musculoskeletal health, is seeking a manager for an exciting opportunity to work closely with its President & Chief Executive Officer, Chief of Staff, and members of the Executive Leadership team by developing strategic communications and leading special projects. The position will get exposure to executives and teams across the organization, including the Board of Trustees, helping to drive and support interdisciplinary strategic initiatives and planning processes. The position will also be responsible for developing strategic communications (presentations, whitepapers, board communications) for the President/CEO to deliver to both internal and external audiences. The Manager, Strategic Projects & Communications will report directly to the HSS Chief of Staff with regular interaction with the CEO and frequent, ongoing exposure to executive leadership team and other key leaders across the organization.   Key Responsibilities - Develop the storyline and content for strategic communications based on insights and inputs from the President/CEO and other executive stakeholders - Be responsible for the development of communication materials (verbal, written, visual) based on synthesis inputs; lead development of presentations for various audiences - Develop relationships with executives and team members across the organization to support the development of key communications and stay up to date on messages to be communicated - Work closely with the Chief of Staff, Chief Strategy Officer, and Marketing & Communications Department to ensure consistency with HSS strategy, brand, messaging, and voice of authors - Support the Office of the President/CEO in managing content development across all speaking engagements - Work closely with the internal communications team to coordinate messaging and timing of announcements across the enterprise - Support the executive leadership team in managing the ongoing communication cadence across leadership forums including but not limited to the Board of Trustees, executive and physician leadership, and broader enterprise - Support content development and project manage regularly occurring leadership forums including meetings of executive leadership and enterprise leadership, as well as meetings of the Board of Trustees and relevant committees together with the Chief of Staff - Project manage select initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic priorities

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop our patient’s cross-platform Digital Front Door, guide the integration with other digital assets within the organization (e.g. our electronic medical record, website, third party solutions, etc.) and to iteratively improve upon the patient experience in meaningful ways. This role will report to the Senior Director – Technical Architecture (Digital)   Responsibilities · Develop and improve mobile and web code base for patient-facing applications. · Work closely with product managers, technical architect and information technology resources to track project completion · Work closely with all members of the Product and DevOps teams – designers, technical architects, integration engineers, AWS engineers, site reliability engineers, Epic analysts, Digital and operational leadership -- to execute on the product vision. · Provide timely updates to project management resources and ensure project timelines are met · Collaborate with the UI/UX teams to ensure final products are user friendly · Collaborate with analytics and information technology counterparts to track baseline and success metrics of products · Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. · Design, develop, and maintain automated unit tests across the product functionality. · Participate in platform architecture designs and technical backlog grooming. · Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans. · Assist with the creation of reports, manuals, and other documentation on the operation and maintenance of products. · Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. · Collaborate with integration engineering team to develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. · Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. · Assess opportunities for application and process improvement.   Skills and Experience - Required · Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. · 3 years minimum of experience as a senior level software developer · 3 years minimum experience with native mobile app development, specifically iOS Swift and React Native. · Experience working on AWS. · Experience building products that support chatbots & media integration · Experience integrating, building & deploying custom APIs for data exchange. · Proficient in JavaScript, front end with working experience with React, Angular or Vue and backend with Node.js. Minimum 3 years. · Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments (Git preferred). · Experience with test driven development. · Experience with agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum. · Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.   Skills and Experience – Preferred · Proficient in Java or equivalent OO language such as .Net, C++, etc. Minimum 3 years. · Experience with MuleSoft. · Experience with SalesForce. · Experience with Twilio. · Experience with Raygun or a similar mobile app monitoring platform. · Experience with Google Analytics and Google Firebase. · Experience with Apple Developer accounts and Google Play Developer accounts. · Experience with building applications leveraging the Epic SDK and/or App Orchard web services. · Excellent communication skills, equally as comfortable collaborating with demanding business leaders as you are collaborating with the internal developmet
