They are in charge of facilitating compliance for revenue systems. These individuals are responsible and pay close attention to detail. They possess strong analytical skills to identify financial and revenue discrepancies.     PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: - Identify revenue cycle problems and implement solutions for improvement. - Assist in Practice Management/System support, training, issues resolution. - Analyze and improve performance of front-end billing operations within MD office practice settings. - Assist in managing provider credentialing process and maintaining credentialing database. - Assist with building and maintaining financial report/s database, month-end reporting, and physician performance score-cards. - Identify and monitor revenue cycle performance dashboards, work-queues, and work on resolving issues outside norm and expected baseline metrics and key performance indicators. - Assist with analysis of MD office and external billing company revenue cycle performance, and any financial analysis as needed. - Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECIEVED: - Reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager.          REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE: - Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS codes, and Modifiers. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Knowledge of insurance terminology, capitation, and fee for service billing. - Knowledge of various insurance company requirements for filing insurance claims.   QUALIFICATIONS; REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with Bachelor degree preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience required in Physician/Professional billing Revenue Cycle Methodologies (front and back-end) - Minimum of 2 years of experience required in Epic’s Resolute Professional Billing module with a working knowledge of all modules within Resolute charging, claims, remittances, workqueues, etc. - Financial/billing system reporting experience required - An ability to extract and analyze large data sets drawing conclusions from the data and acting on findings - Strong knowledge and experience with Excel, Access - Tableau experience welcomed - SQL, Epic Caboodle, and/or Epic Clarity experience strongly preferred

The Patient Services Coordinator is an expert in all administrative aspects related to high-quality, efficient patient care.
