The Patient Access Specialist is an expert in areas of customer service, registration/scheduling, insurance, and HSS Standards of Care. As a member of our renowned physical therapy team, you will provide care for a diverse range of patients of all ages. Upon referral by a physician, you will evaluate patient condition, determine the appropriate treatment plan and set rehabilitation goals. Educating patients and family members on the most up-to-date approaches to the rehabilitation process will be an important part of this role. Qualifications To qualify you will need a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a current NYS license. At least two years of experience is preferred. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are also vital. Weekend coverage is mandatory.

Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise   Research Assistant Full-Time 9am-5pm       SUMMARY: The HSS Center for Regenerative Medicine aims to provide evidence-based clinical care that utilizes a range of regenerative medicine therapies in conjunction with a coordinated research program. Under the supervision of the Research Director, the Clinical Research Assistant oversees the collection of data for the Regenerative Medicine Registry, screening, enrolling, and following-up patients that receive therapies such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and other orthobiologics. The clinical research assistant is part of a research team, compliant with all regulatory, institutional and departmental requirements.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Clinical and Regulatory responsibilities:   - Oversees and conducts the informed consent process (requires appropriate training and certification of human research subjects training). - Manages data collection specific including but not limited to the performance of observational measurements, collection of clinical data from patients directly, and manage the performance of all other duties as put forth in the research protocol. - Spearheads efforts to meet patient enrollment targets. To that end, develops and implements various recruitment strategies.  - Assists with IRB submissions for initial approvals, re-approvals, amendments, etc… Ensures timeliness and accuracy of submissions and no lapses in approvals for research studies. - Compiles and assists in final analyses of data in preparation for a presentation, sponsor/regulatory agency, publication, etc… with guidance from the study investigator. - Assists the Research Director in departmental audits as well as external audits performed by representatives of the sponsor for each clinical research project they manage. Consults with HSS internal monitor for guidance on these activities. - Collaborates with the research team and research administration, as needed, to ensure that research subjects are treated in accordance with all mandated requirements. Ensures that standards regarding subject registration, protocol specific tests, and required documentation are adhered to.  Reports deviations as appropriate and resolves issues when possible.  Escalates issues to supervisor as needed. - Maintains and enhances professional growth through participation in seminars, professional affiliations, and internal training sessions to keep abreast of trends in the field of research data management.   JOB REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate has the ability to communicate in an effective manner with management, clinical staff, external sponsors and patients at HSS. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for this role. Commitment for a minimum of 2 years is highly preferred.   Education/Training: 1-2 years experience in clinical research     Bachelor’s degree     Scientific background   Experience:        Proficient use of computers and software                  Experience with databases and EMR software is preferred                  Knowledge of Orthopaedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.

Your primary focus will be performing diagnostic medical radiography on patients of all age categories. This will entail radiographic examinations using stationary and/or mobile equipment, while ensuring the highest standards of safety for patients. We will also rely on you to properly store and maintain equipment, instruct patients on exams, and accurately log and document related information.   Qualifications: ARRT - Registered Technologist Certification (RT); NYS license and registration of license at NYS DOH (LRT) Flexible working hours and excellent organization and communication skills are essential.   CT/OR experience preferred.
