Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.     The MRI Laboratory at the Hospital for Special Surgery invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow to join a team of radiologists and MRI researchers who are investigating MRI applications for peripheral nerve imaging (magnetic resonance neurography) and quantitative MRI in musculoskeletal applications. Specifically, the project will focus on (i) developing robust motion correction techniques to enable high resolution three-dimensional anatomical imaging and (ii) performing quantitative diffusion processing and associated modeling.

Post Doctoral Fellow    The postdoc fellow will work in the laboratory of Dr. Baohong Zhao on scientific projects related to inflammatory osteoclastogenesis and musculoskeletal diseases. - Design and perform experiments that will utilize molecular, cellular and genetic techniques to answer questions about mechanisms that regulate osteoclastogenesis in inflammatory settings. - Meet regularly with Dr. Zhao to review and interpret data. - Participate in scientific presentations and meetings. - Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts. It is expected that this work will provide insights about new therapeutic approaches in inflammatory diseases
