We treat a large variety of hand, wrist and elbow diagnoses including post-surgical trauma, fractures, dislocations, tendon lacerations, arthritis, brachial plexus injuries, amputations and rheumatic conditions. Qualified candidates will have experience with orthosis fabrication and post-surgical rehabilitation. The primary responsibilities of this role are to create and own a functional automated test suite for our patient-facing cross-platform Digital Front Door, to extend that toolset to cover additional products, and to assist with the creation and maintenance of CI/CD scripts. The S.D.E.T. would work closely with the engineering team and the Digital Product team to implement process, define value, and report on product test coverage. The S.D.E.T. will be intimately familiar with Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycles, will have experience creating automated suites for web apps, mobile apps, and Restful API’s, and will have experience writing and maintaining CI/CD scripts, ideally with CircleCI.   Roles and Responsibilities - Create and maintain functional automated test suites for React web and mobile-native patient-facing applications. - Write and maintain CI/CD scripts in CircleCI for various application pipelines. - Work closely with all members of the Product and DevOps teams – designers, technical architects, integration engineers, AWS engineers, site reliability engineers, Epic analysts, Digital and operational leadership -- to execute on the product vision. - Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. - Report on the overall test coverage of different products, as well as the execution history for different products. - Integrate our automated tests into our application pipelines in an efficient and flexible manner. - Document issues for the development team when test cases fail. - Assess opportunities for application and process improvement. Skills and Experience - Required - 3 years minimum of Experience writing Automated Functional and back-end tests for cross-platform applications. At least one project must have been a Javascript/node.js app. - 3 years minimum Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD scripts, ideally in CircleCI. - 3 years minimum Experience with Agile SDLC. - 3 years minimum Experience with an industry-best automation tool (Selenium, Cucumber, etc). - Experience with Jira for issue documentation and management. - Experience with test driven development. - Experience with various testing strategies and methodologies and strong understanding of when to apply those different strategies. Skills and Experience – Preferred - Experience testing products that integrate with Epic, particularly products leveraging the MyChart SDK and/or App Orchard web services. - Experience with performance, load, and stress testing. - Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce, or Twilio. - Excellent communication skills, equally as comfortable collaborating with demanding business leaders as you are collaborating with the internal development team.

The primary clinical tasks are: patient rooming, injection set up and phlebotomy. Opportunities for mentorship, authorship, and presentation at orthopedic research meetings are also available.   RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify, screen, recruit, and obtain consent from patients for participation in the Foot & Ankle Registry and other research studies - Administer questionnaires and interviews in-person, by mail, and/or by phone - Prepare and submit study-related materials to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for regulatory approvals - Organize monthly research meetings for the department - Organize and maintain all files and documents related to specific projects - Design/maintain databases, data collection forms, source documents, and patient files - Assist in grant documents/submissions - Act as a resource for patients enrolled in the Foot & Ankle Registry and other clinical studies - Ensure timely data collection and entry - Prepare and submit abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations to disseminate study results/progress - When needed, assist in the physician office with answering phones and scheduling patient appointments PREREQUISITES: - Bachelor’s degree - Clinical research experience preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Endnote - Familiarity with REDCap preferred - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to use tact, discretion, and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information   DIRECTIONS TO APPLY:  Submit resume, transcripts (unofficial), and cover letter.
