Participate in collaborative studies, including translational research studies that draw upon the large clinical volume at our institution. - Participate in the academic programs of Weill Cornell Medical College and Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and maintain an active academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medicine. - Participate in the supervision of trainees, including residents, fellows, students and interns who participate in research studies. This supervision will include guidance on design of research projects, review and analysis of research data and preparation of presentations and manuscripts describing the research data. - Document the results of research studies through preparation and submission of research manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals for publication and submission of research data for potential presentation at professional meetings. - Obtain external support for research activities and be responsible for identifying funds to offset research.
