Reporting to the Director of Program Development and Clinical Innovation within Ambulatory Services, the Office Manager for HSS Orthopedics Now is part of an administrative team supporting the program’s advanced practice providers across multiple locations.  Our Office Managers follow-up on each patient to coordinate and schedule the next step(s) of their treatment plan within the HSS ecosystem, preventing patients from having to navigate the healthcare system on their own. Given the extended hours, multiple locations, and immediate access goals that are unique to this program, Office Managers are required to use their independent judgement based on the patient and provider needs of the program. This position is primarily an in-person role with the flexibility to work from home based on proven productivity levels.   Responsibilities:   Patient Management (67%) - Pre-appointment preparations to help expedite visits and help redirect inappropriate patients as necessary - Coordinate and directly schedule patient referrals to MDs, PT, Advanced Imaging Services - Complete MRI authorizations for patients obtaining images at non-HSS facilities - Screen incoming messages from patients and internal departments - Obtain results and upload to patient’s chart for follow-up provider review Provider and Program Administrative Support (33%) - Monitor and track patient referral patterns to ensure next appointments are scheduled - Manage timekeeping and assist with provider vacation coverage to ensure session coverage - Data gathering and analysis to support program leadership - Monitor patient satisfaction scores, and escalate as appropriate - Confirm final radiology imaging reports are reviewed by providers and encounters are closed

Assesses completeness of information and qualifications relative to established standards.
