Your primary focus will be performing diagnostic medical radiography on patients of all age categories. This will entail radiographic examinations using stationary and/or mobile equipment, while ensuring the highest standards of safety for patients. We will also rely on you to properly store and maintain equipment, instruct patients on exams, and accurately log and document related information.

Provides guidance and instruction, communicating and administering policies and procedures. Performs clinical and/or administrative functions necessary to the efficient operation of the department. Coordinates the training program of new staff either hired into FL or being cross-trained.  Strong Musculoskeletal XRAY and MRI imaging knowledge highly preferred. - Ensures the effectiveness of the technical imaging service. - Ensures efficient use of Imaging Department’s multi-site resources. - Develops programs which address quality improvement safety systems enhancement and streamlining of work. - Ensures Optimal Customer Service. - Works with other counterparts within department and HSS Enterprise for overall organizational improvement. - Develops operating policies and procedures (protocols) in conjunction with the Administrator, Physicists and Division Chief. - Coordinates on-going training and continuing education programs for staff and students. - Advances team and self-knowledge in musculoskeletal XRAY and MRI imaging.  - In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Under the direct supervision of Value Management Program Director, this role will provide coordination for value improvement and research efforts,   Responsibilities:   - Oversees and conducts the informed consent process for patients identified as eligible for research study participation.  - Spearheads efforts to meet patient enrollment targets for value improvement and research efforts. To that end, develops and implements various recruitment strategies. - Assists and trouble shoots for patients in completing assessment activities, e.g., completing paper, electronic or telephonic surveys. - Responsible for patient compliance, achieved primarily through direct patient follow-up - Collaborates with the research team and research administration, as needed, to ensure that research subjects are treated in accordance with all mandated requirements. Ensures that standards regarding subject registration, protocol specific tests, and required documentation are adhered to. Reports deviations as appropriate and resolves issues when possible. Escalates issues to supervisor as needed. - Performs background literature reviews to inform study design and interpretation of analyses. - Assists in the preparation of quality improvement and research analysis and presentations.

The OM will provide comprehensive administrative support, oversee day-to-day operations and contribute to an environment of clinical excellence for Dr. Vyas’ practice.   The successful candidate will be empathetic, positive and professional during all patient interactions, combining this with critical thinking and attention to detail.  In addition, the OM will manage office staff and act as a liaison to staff in other hospital departments.   Responsibilities: - Interact with patients and their families in person, on the phone and via email communications in a professional, personable and empathetic manner - Answer phone calls and make calls to patients, physicians and other staff - Patient check out after appointments and return visit scheduling - Schedule surgical cases and new clinic appointments - Manage physician’s professional calendars - Act as a liaison between the office and other hospital staff - Manage front end payment collection and insurance authorizations - Train, oversee, and develop junior staff within physician office (as applicable) - Proactively identify ways to enhance physician office operations
