Salesforce Senior Developer Salesforce Team Information Technology   Hospital for Special Surgery has an opportunity for an experienced Salesforce developer to collaborate on all aspects of the implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud for patient access and referrals. As a key member of the Information Technology Department, the Salesforce Senior Developer will attain specialized knowledge of the software and serve as a vital liaison between the HSS IT Department, hospital departments, HSS Connect, patient access, and physician’s offices.   **This position requires the flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights & weekends during major implementation and support efforts**   Responsibilities - Actively work on all aspects of Salesforce implementations and expected to handle a project or user story end to end (Analyze->Build->Test->Deploy). - Coordinate and communicate with business users to understand the business requirements and perform technical analysis to suggest solutions and suggestions. - Routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other build, design and configuration issues associated with Epic use (Epic integrated with Salesforce using Mulesoft) - Develop product content (build all necessary codes/databases/rules/functions) for each implementation. - Guide the team on Salesforce Technical design, implementations, solutioning and best practices. Demonstrate technical thought leadership and serve as mentor/lead. - Follow Coding Standards and Conduct Code Reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used. - Work closely with all members of the Product and DevOps teams – designers, technical architects, integration engineers, AWS engineers, site reliability engineers, Epic analysts, Digital and operational leadership -- to execute on the product vision. - Prioritize and implement system change requests, coordinate software updates and changes with end-users. - Collaborate with QA team to ensure the build is thoroughly tested each new release and enhancement. - Document the Technical Design and Implementation details. - Review software, workflows, analyze business operations, and collaborate with colleagues, HSS Business Representatives/Subject Matter Experts and end-users to ensure systems are suitable for the organization’s HSS Connect, patient access and physician’s practice needs. - Play an integral role in supporting the HSS adoption and engagement strategy (i.e., train, support and optimize access, referrals, scheduling, clinical, financial & practice management solutions) - Collaborate with integration engineering team to develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. - Provide on-site support during go-live and system upgrade scenarios; provide on-call support on a rotating basis. - Assist with all Quality Assurance processes including change management and testing efforts; participate in disaster recovery measures. - Participate in user meetings, in-services and internal team meetings; Provide subject-matter-expert knowledge transfer to colleagues. - Remain current on Salesforce technologies and obtain certification in Salesforce applications as warranted.

Dr. William Schairer is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine and Trauma. Dr. Schairer uses minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques to treat injuries of the shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow. The position consists of seeing patients for initial and follow-up visits, office work and OR.    Location: HSS/NYP-Cornell, NYC   Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited PA program, current NYS, BLS/ACLS certification and NCCPA board certification are required.    Also, the candidate must have current Infection Control Certification and have completed a child abuse recognition course. The PA must have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Surgical experience or training is preferred.

Complements and supports the nurse in providing care to patients/families according to established standards of care. Supports the unit in the maintenance and safety of supplies, equipment, and the environment.   Responsibilities: - Applies and removes casts according to physician specification, including the appropriate selection of materials, padding and trimming - Verifies physician's order for type of cast, cast material and special instructions. - Selects appropriate padding and stockinette appropriate to the patient's condition, age, surgery anatomy and the cast material specified by the physician. - Applies padding to the skin and bony prominences. - Applies cast material so that the reduction/alignment is maintained as ordered by the physician. - Provides information about skin integrity, cast fit and other data collected, to the appropriate professional, nurse or physician. - Inspects edges of casts for smoothness, and for signs of pressure and tightness. - Demonstrates ability to apply and remove casts and splints according to physician specification, including the appropriate selection of materials, padding and trimming. - Demonstrates awareness of the plan of care for the individual patient; supports nurses and physicians as applicable. - Provides and maintains a safe environment for patients, family and staff. - Maintain cultural and diversity appreciation when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers. - Promote a supportive, team-work oriented environment. - Support departmental responsibilities consistent with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of the hospital. The candidate will develop AI algorithms on musculoskeletal MRI projects using data from the high clinical MRI volume at HSS. The candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of MR scientists, engineers, and radiologists focused on translating novel techniques to routine clinical practice.   The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in either computer science, computer/electrical engineering, medical physics, applied mathematics or a related field, and have experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Experience working on one or more of the following areas within MRI is highly preferable – pulse sequence programming, image reconstruction or image processing. Familiarity with Unix and shell-script programming is highly desirable. The candidate should also have demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills as well as a record of productivity and publications.   The candidate will be assigned a broad variety of tasks including developing AI algorithms, maintaining processing pipelines, developing MR image reconstruction methods, manuscript preparation, and participation in grant applications. Duties and Responsibilities: - Support day to day operations of the Data Center Services team - Maintain the health of all IDF and Data Center UPS systems - Maintain the health of all IDF and Data Center HVAC systems - Oversee all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities for MEP infrastructure contained in IDF and Data Center facilities - Compile weekly, quarterly and annual reports and metrics.
