The candidate’s primary role is to provide medical and therapeutic massage to the following populations: pre/post orthopedic surgery; athletes recovering from injury as well as improving performance; non-operative orthopedic conditions commonly seen in a rehabilitation center.     The successful candidate should be comfortable working in an academic setting and collaborating with a staff of physical therapists and exercise physiologists.  The candidate will be afforded optional opportunities for attending education conferences and participating in community outreach.      Requirements:   To qualify you must have a NY state license for Massage Therapy in good standing, along with evidence of current malpractice insurance.  Candidates must have a minimum requirement of 5 year’s experience with a wide variety of clientele.

Provides timely reports to Director, Institutional Review Board, Principal Investigator, National Institutes of Health and/or sponsor for each research project. - Contributes to CJRC research through: - Recruitment process (conducts informed consent process) - Data collection - The development and build of Clinical Research Forms - Assures that research is done in an accurate and efficient manner. - Ensures that all research related regulatory, institutional, and departmental compliance requirements are met as appropriate. - Handles I.T. communications (requests) and generates reports from the registry as needed. - Facilitates completion of all internal documentation needed for research (IRB applications, conflict of interest forms, data collection forms, etc.) - Assists in data collection for registry/research-specific studies including but not limited to the performance of measurements for applicable studies, collection of clinical data from patients directly, and manage the performance of all other duties as put forth in the protocol.  - Acts as a clinician’s scribe in the operating room in order to collect vital intraoperative registry data during surgical cases - Maintains and enhances professional growth through participation in seminars, research meetings, ARJR and CJRC grand rounds, and internal training sessions to keep abreast of trends in the field of Arthroplasty research. - Assists in patient care coordination by assuring patients complete CJRC forms and patient reported outcomes prior to office visits. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:   Education/Training:    - Bachelor’s degree required Experience:                  - Prior research experience - Prior Epic experience - Prior hospital experience - Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Good Technology Practice - Excellent communication skills - Must have a flexible schedule that allows for variable shifts throughout the week. - Proficient use of computers and software - Knowledge of Orthopaedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.

You will be Providing our world-renowned Physicians' medical practices with administrative support, act as liaison to a wide variety of hospital staff and departments, assist with the day-to-day practice operations ensuring the highest level of customer service delivery, practice, support and patient confidentiality. Requirements   - Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree highly desirable. 3-5- years physician office experience may be considered in lieu of education. - Must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed, including: HSS Manhattan sites, HSS Paramus, HSS Brooklyn, HSS White Plains, HSS Stamford – majority of assignments will be in Manhattan with occasional needs in the satellites especially Paramus and Brooklyn. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive out-patient environment and collaborate with world class colleagues across multiple disciplines. As a member of our supportive interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical intervention in outpatient settings for children ages newborn through 21.   Candidate must be goal oriented with a desire for professional growth and demonstrate knowledge of pediatric orthopedic and neurologic conditions as well as rehabilitation guidelines. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required.   Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building, mentorship and leadership skills. Your primary focus will be to operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all age categories. This will entail MRI examinations using GE equipment, while ensuring the highest standards of safety for patients. We will also rely on you to properly store and maintain equipment, instruct patients on exams, and accurately log and document related information.   Qualifications:   To qualify for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited / approved radiologic program with a certification in MR, (ARRT). NY State License required, NY State injection license.   Minimum of 2 years of MRI scanning experience required.    Flexible working hours and excellent organization and communication skills are essential.
