As a key member of the Information Technology Department, the Team Lead will attain/maintain specialized knowledge of enterprise Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and serve as a vital liaison between the HSS IT Department, hospital departments, physician’s offices and Epic representatives.   **This position requires the flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights & weekends during major implementation and support efforts**   Responsibilities The Team Lead is responsible for expert knowledge of their assigned IT solutions and software functionality. They will be accountable to their Manager/Director for completion of deliverables, will represent the team when working with clinical and operational leadership, and will serve as an expert resource to their team and the IT organization for projects and technologies.  The Team Lead will also provide guidance to team members and actively develop the knowledge and skills set of the team.   The Team Lead contributes to the strategic direction, guidance, and integration of products and services for their assigned application(s). This role forms and maintains collaborative relationships both internally within the IT department and externally with business leaders. - Expert knowledge of assigned Epic applications and third-party vendors related to all patient access applications. - Assists Manager and Director in managing the scope, cost, milestones, and success of assigned applications and projects. - Certified in one or more Epic applications. - Develop and champion new ideas that add value to the organization. - Research best practices and implementations. - Provide guidance to teams, users, and leadership on all technologies, configurations and workflows. - Collaborate with other Leads and Project managers to ensure processes and technical solutions are effectively integrated. - Provide oversight of on-site support activities during go-lives. - Proactively seeks opportunities to educate teams on HSS applications and health information technology. - Significant process design experience. - Actively work on all aspects of Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence, and Welcome implementations through the maintenance stage, including but not limited to analysis, design, build, quality testing, data collection and reporting, ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and all other support activities. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree - Certified in multiple Epic applications. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships. - Strong analytical skills and experience implementing applications. - Strong interpersonal relationship skills. - Significant process design experience. - Demonstrated ability in adherence to process standards around documentation and workflow design. - Project management skills including, but not limited to the ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and manage project plans. - Strong skills in research and analysis. - Driven to expand on current healthcare IT knowledge and expertise. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented and pragmatic; a great team player who is analytical and solution focused. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights and possibly weekends during major implementation and support efforts. - Successful candidates will be required to obtain/maintain Epic Certification(s) essential to their job responsibilities. Desired Qualifications - Epic Prelude, Grand Central, Cadence, or Welcome certification(s) strongly preferred. - 3+ years working in a physician or revenue cycle environment. - Prior experience implementing, teaching, and supporting users with new applications and/or Epic in an ambulatory or hospital environment is preferred. - Cross-application integration experience is highly desired. - Assessment and change management/transformation experience preferred.

Autonomously, and in collaboration with healthcare professionals and other individuals, the APP provides a full range of primary, acute, and specialty healthcare services, including:   This NP or PA position is based at the main hospital in the Upper East Side of Manhattan (New York, NY). This is a full-time position, working 3 shifts a week - 7a-8p with Saturday rotation.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - First or Second assisting in sports and arthroplasty service OR. - Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-ray. - Prescribing medications and other treatments - Managing patients' overall care developing individualized plan of care This position requires a motivated APRN or PA who can function autonomously within established practice protocols and a collaborative agreement.   Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program. Make corrections  as needed. - Print and mail  paper claims as needed. - Reviews and maintains unbilled charge reports, reconciliation reports. - Upload documents to clearinghouse and payer website as needed - Review statement batch summary and accept patient statement runs. - Performs other related duties as required. SUPERVISION RECIEVED: - Reports to Billing Supervisor, Billing Manager, and/or Billing Assistant Director. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE: - Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (Microsoft Office and Excel). - Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS codes, and Modifiers. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Knowledge of various insurance company requirements for filing insurance claims. - Epic EMR billing system is a plus. - Knowledge of medical coding is a plus. Your role is essential to ensuring a positive patient experience by promoting a professional atmosphere through courteous communication. The office manager is expected to provide comprehensive administrative support, assist in the day-to-day operations, and contribute to an environment of clinical excellence.     The office manager position collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in the management of scheduling appointments, ensuring patient follow up and by assisting with insurance questions and authorizations as required. The office manager serves as a liaison to the front desk staff for continuity and problem solving.    Requirements - Bachelor's degree  - Three years in a healthcare/ medical office practice experience  Qualifications - Superior written and oral communication skills - Exceptional customer service skills - Ability to multi-task /detail oriented - Displays positive attitudes towards assignments and others - Works independently on assigned tasks, proactive/self-starter - Knowledge of healthcare, health insurance and medical terminology - Ability to escalate issues appropriately - Collaborate in the on-boarding of new employees - Strong computer skills required-Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel and PowerPoint - Strong organizational and critical thinking skills - Knowledge of EMR systems
