Full Time Medical Secretary

In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative support and direction to an HSS physician practice, you will assist with the day-to-day operations ensuring the highest level of customer service delivery, practice, support and patient confidentiality. Your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to: triaging phone calls and patient inquiries, scheduling patients for appointments and procedures, conducting verification of medical insurance and patient billing/collections, authorization of services, filing/chart preparation.
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred) and at least two years of related MD office/healthcare experience. Familiarity with medical terminology and general office protocol required. The ability to type 45-60 words per minute and exceptional organizational strengths are required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
