Full Time A/R Representative (Customer Service)
In this role within the Patient Accounts department you will respond to customer concerns as soon as possible with compassion and understanding. You will utilize effective telephone etiquette in collecting patient balances owed. You will resolve customer inquiries independently to ensure complete account resolution as well as accurate and timely submission of refund requests. You will also provide superior customer service to physicians, department managers, patients, families, and health care providers while building trusting relationships and achieving departmental goals.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years professional experience, with a focus on billing preferred. Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience with Eagle and knowledge of Medicare regulations preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual highly desirable.
