Full Time Physician Assistant

 Non-Operative Care

Overnight shifts, schedule to be determined

Opportunity to obtain exposure to pre and post-operative care of our orthopedics patients while working in a collaborative environment with our overnight Physician Assistant team.

 

As an essential member of our Orthopedic Physician Assistant team, you will provide comprehensive pre/postoperative care which includes:

  • Admission history and physicals.
  • Post-operative checks with neurologic assessments.
  • Management of both medical /surgical issues for inpatient population on the following service lines - Arthroplasty,Spine, Sports Medicine, Foot and Ankle and Trauma

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program; Master's preferred
  • Current NYS Physician Assistant license and registration
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • NCCPA board certification is required
  • Infection Control certification
  • Completion of a child abuse recognition course
  • DEA required upon hire
  • Have excellent communication and be a team player
  • Possess strong clinical skills
