Biostatistician I

Overview:
The Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Management is engaged in perioperative population sciences and outcomes research. Its goal is to develop, analyze, and disseminate population-based research that leads to improvements in the quality, safety, outcomes and efficiency of care.
We are currently seeking a Master’s level Biostatistician who will work closely with population science researchers at HSS. This position entails collaborating on several projects primarily with the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management to identify and manage small institutional and larger national datasets, to conduct univariable and multivariable analyses, and to report research findings in order to improve the effectiveness, safety, and efficiency of health care delivery.
HSS provides excellent opportunities to develop professionally, which involves strong mentorship and participation/recognition in disseminating research findings through scientific papers and national and international conferences.
