Position Description:

 

The Program Coordinator, EI Outcomes and Scholarly Activity, reporting to the Senior Director of EI Outcomes and Scholarly Activity, will provide coordination of various programs within HSS Education, focusing on data analytics and management, research, outcomes reporting, and scholarly activities of faculty and trainees. This role encompasses coordinating data, evaluation, research, quality and process improvement initiatives within the Community Education and Outreach Department (CE&O) and Academic Training (AT) as well as EI initiatives to other departments.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the implementation of the NYS Community Service Plan as well as the planning, implementation, and analysis of the HSS Community Health Needs Assessment.
  • Support the collection and reporting of measurable outcomes concerning Community Benefit efforts for HSS Community Benefit Programming.
  • Assist in overseeing data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting for all EI programs, including CE&O, AT, and scholarly activities of faculty and trainees.
  • Support the implementation of data management systems, identify evaluation tools, and develop strategies to measure the impact of EI programs.
  • Support the development of new and managing existing dashboards using Tableau to assess the impact and outcomes of all EI programs and processes.
  • Coordinate Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions for all Education protocols and the Education & Social Services Clinical Review Panel (CRP) under the Research Institutue.
  • Conduct literature reviews, interviews, and focus groups to inform program development, evaluation, and research.
  • Develop regular data reports and dashboards to track program performance and outcomes.
  • Organize team meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate survey development and implementation across CE&O programs.
  • Coordinate data requests across EI by evaluating and prioritizing requests.
  • Provide data support for abstracts, manuscripts, and grant submissions to national conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
  • Support the development and execution of projects enhancing the scholarly activity of GME Residents, Fellows, and students.
  • Support continuous quality improvement (CQI), research and quality improvement activities across EI.
  • Provide data support for the development of the EI Annual Report and the Community Benefit Report.
  • Address ad-hoc data requests and projects within EI as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, research, behavioral or social sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in program evaluation, research, or public health within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in evaluation design, research methodology, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Proficiency in SPSS, Redcap, and Tableau is required.
  • Familiarity with Alchemer, Quickbase, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Access to a working computer, internet, and phone is essential.

Pay Range - Minimum

USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $80,000.00/Yr.
