Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technician II

Monday – Friday with weekend call opportunity

Performs neurophysiologic monitoring of spinal cord and nerve root function during spine surgeries, using somatosensory evoked potential, motor evoked potential and EMG testing, at the nation’s # 1 Orthopedic hospital. Supporting the delivery of the highest quality of patient care, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and neurologists in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Completes all reading assignments and reviews anatomy, methods, and materials.
• Demonstrates knowledge of equipment maintenance and electrical safety.
• Selects and applies appropriate electrodes for stimulating and recording.
• Prepares collected patient test data for report completion following procedure.
• Collaborates with peers, physicians, and other members of the health care team as appropriate.

• Bachelors preferred, Associates Required.
• Minimum of 3 years of IOM experience required.
• CNIM certification required.
• The successful candidate must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and have excellent organization and communication skills.
