Analyst II, Corporate Systems Applications

Overview:

 

Hospital for Special Surgery has an opportunity for an experienced Corporate Systems Applications analyst to collaborate on all aspects of the support and development of UKG Dimensions and its associated modules. As a key member of the Information Technology Department, the Corporate Systems Applications Analyst II will attain/maintain specialized knowledge of our enterprise time and attendance and advanced scheduling software and serve as a vital liaison between the HSS IT Department, Human Resources, Payroll, and hospital department end users.

**This position requires the flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends during major implementation and support efforts**

 

Responsibilities

  • Actively work on all aspects of UKG Dimensions including the maintenance, setup, and testing for various UKG Dimensions modules including Time & Attendance, Advanced Scheduling, Accruals, Leave of Absence, mobile, and InTouch devices.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Human Resources, Payroll, and other hospital department personnel, including timekeepers and managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and give meaningful feedback to help the customer or team to improve.
  • Review, assess, and test the impact of changes and enhancements with each Dimensions release and make recommendations for best course of action.
  • Collect and analyze information from the system and system users to formulate a useful, organized, and structured scope and objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
  • Experience and ability to work in a ticket system effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Provide on-site support during go-live and system upgrade scenarios.
  • Participate in internal team meetings as well as meeting with operational stakeholders and provide subject-matter-expert knowledge to colleagues.
  • Remain current on UKG Dimensions and other Corporate Systems technologies as needed.
  • Develop relationships, trust, and credibility to successfully manage multiple demands; maintain communications with Dimensions users.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using UKG Dimensions or Kronos Workforce Central.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in adherence to process standards around documentation, change management, and system testing.
  • Familiarity with business processes, including those related to Human Resources and Payroll.
  • Driven to expand on current healthcare IT knowledge and expertise.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and pragmatic; a great team player who is analytical and solution-focused.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights and possibly weekends during major implementation and support efforts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience using Workday with UKG Dimensions is highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources and/or Payroll is highly desired.
  • Prior experience implementing, teaching, and supporting users with new applications is preferred.
  • Cross-application integration experience is preferred.
  • Assessment and change management/transformation experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Pay Range - Minimum

USD $120,000.00/Yr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $135,000.00/Yr.
