Physical Therapist- Advanced Clinician

Acute Care

 

Overview:

Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation and Performance team is actively seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist and leader to join us at our team in NYC. Our dynamic out-patient settings offer the opportunity for a physical therapist to practice in variety of orthopedic environments and provide direct access care.

 

Candidates should be strong clinicians in the field orthopedic physical therapy and have experience and/or interest in staff development, mentoring and a willingness to lead educational initiatives for staff, community and professional audiences.  This position requires strong communication, team building and leadership skills. 

 

 

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have 3+ years' experience, with out-patient clinical expertise emphasizing differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative. New York State licensure is a requirement. APTA certifications including SCS or OCS are preferred, but not mandatory.

USD $105,108.00/Yr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $131,758.00/Yr.
