    Orthopedics - Operative

    As an essential member of our team, you will provide comprehensive pre/postoperative care which may include:

    • 1st Assist on a variety of orthopedic surgical cases
    • Admission history and physicals
    • Post-operative checks with neurologic assessments
    • Management of both medical /surgical issues for our inpatient population
    • Provide clinical assessment and patient education in our expanding ambulatory care centers

    To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program; Master's preferred
    • Current or pending NYS Physician Assistant license and registration
    • BLS/ACLS certification
    • NCCPA board certification is required
    • Infection Control certification
    • Completion of a child abuse recognition course
    • DEA required upon hire
    • Have excellent communication and be a team player
    • Possess strong clinical skills
