    Full Time CORE Physician Assistant

    Schedule: 4 days per week ; 2 pm - 12 am with 2 overnight shfits per month

    40 hours per week

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment providing comprehensive pre intra and post-operative care to a variety of orthopedic patients
    • Acting as a first assist in service specific procedures
    • Manage both surgical and medical issues
    • Perform complete and accurate history and physical exams
    • Patient management on floors as needed
    • Overnight floor responsibilities



    To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program, Master’s degree preferred
    • Current NYS Physician Assistant license and registration
    • NCCPA board certification
    • American Heart Association BLS/ACLS certification
    • Infection Control certification
    • Completion of a child abuse recognition course
    • DEA
