    Job Description: Senior Outcomes Coordinator


    The Senior Outcomes Coordinator reporting to the Associate Director of Outcomes for the Public and Patient Education Department (PPED) will be responsible for the coordination of all evaluation, analytical and research activities for PPED initiatives. In addition to the roles specified above, s(he) will work with the hospital’s interdisciplinary team on Quality Improvement Continuing Education (QICE) and the Community Benefits Program (CBP) Outcomes workgroup to provide administrative and data support.


    Major job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Coordinate the data collection and analysis of measurable outcomes related to Community Benefits efforts for PPED
    • Coordinate the implementation and analysis of Community Health Needs Assessment, and the development of the Community Service Plan report
    • Assist with the management of data collection, statistical analysis and reporting activities for the Sports Safety Program and POP
    • Assist with the management of data collection, statistical analysis and reporting activities for all PPED programs (i.e. Musculoskeletal Wellness Initiative, Pain & Stress Management, Asian Bone Community Health Initiative, Geriatric Residents, SNEAKER, etc.) and QICE
    • Manage data management systems, and develop and identify evaluation tools that effectively measures the impact of PPED programs
    • Conduct literature reviews, in-depth interviews and focus groups
    • Develop monthly, quarterly or yearly data reports and infographics
    • Coordinate team meetings, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes
    • Assist with the management of IRB submissions for PPED protocols
    • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the PPED Program Assistant (per-diem)
    • Manage survey development and implementation across all PPED programs
    • Support the development and submission of abstracts and manuscripts to national conferences and peer-review journals
    • Facilitate continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to improve program data and processes


    • Bachelor’s degree in public health, educational psychology, behavioral or social sciences or related field. Master’s degree is highly preferred
    • 2 years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and evaluating programs is required
    • Experience in survey development, the use of web-based surveys such as Survey Gizmo or Survey Monkey and Tableau is preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is required
    • Experience with data analysis tools and software (Stata, SPSS, SAS, etc.) is required
    • Candidates must be highly organized, able to excel in a fast-paced and team-based environment, and have well developed written and oral communication skills
