    Budget Analyst

    Budget & Decision Support

    Mondays -Fridays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Liaison with physician services on all MD related financial issues
    • Work closely with External auditors to provide support for Other Service Revenue and Physician Accounts Receivable support
    • Tracking of changes in contract terms and new agreements/ new physicians to ensure proper payment and recording in monthly financial statements 
    • Preparation of Month Fee Settlements for Physicians on Contract – according to contract terms and agreements
    • Monthly detailed account analysis of Accounts Receivable / Other Service Revenue and MD Fee Settlement Accounts
    • Recording of all monthly Journal entries related to other service revenue and associated balance sheet accounts (includes MD and non-MD related items)
    • Support for Annual Operating Budget with an Emphasis on MD Issues and  Other Service Revenue Budget Items
    • Tracking and reporting of results versus monthly budget and investigating variances
    • Support for the MIAC offshore Insurance Captive including Malpractice billing and Workers Comp Loss runs
    • Other Special Projects and Budget Department Support as requested by Department Leadership

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
    • Three Plus years of Accounting and/or Financial Analysis experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Working Knowledge of Lawson (General Ledger) – preferred
    • Crystal and Cognos TM1  - preferred
    • Outstanding organizational, communication and analytical skills
