Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of Benefit Administration will provide leadership, strategic direction and establish policies and procedures related to the Hospital’s Benefit and Retirement programs.
In this highly visible and service-oriented role, you will have the primary oversight for the operations of the Hospital's employee and retiree benefits programs, which includes medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; retirement plans (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution), disability administration and tuition assistance. In addition, you will implement monitoring protocols to ensure all plans are administered in compliance with Hospital policies as well as regulatory requirements including COBRA, ERISA and ACA.
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with 7-10 years Benefits Management experience, who can mentor and develop staff as well as act as a liaison to vendors and a resource to managers, physicians and employees, hospital-wide.
You will also partner with both HR and interdisciplinary teams in the planning and implementation of various Benefit related initiatives.
The ability to present information, track and report analytics, conceptualize ideas and interpret policies and processes - both verbally and in writing will be key to your success. Exceptional organizational and customer service skills will be essential.
A Bachelor’s degree is required – Masters preferred; SHRM certification highly desirable.
