    Hospital for Special Surgery's Rehabilitation Department is seeking a Clinical Specialist level orthopedic physical therapist to join our team in our specialized spine outpatient center.  This dynamic setting offers the opportunity for the physical therapist to practice in a team environment with emphasis on both non operative and post-operative care of the spine, in addition to treatment of peripheral joints. 

     

    To qualify, you must have 7+ years of out-patient clinical experience with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities.  MDT and OCS and experience treating in direct access are preferred.  New York State licensure is a requirement.

     

    Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building, mentoring and leadership skills. The candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and have excellent customer service skills.
