    Strategic Initiatives Project Manager

    Transformation Office

     

    The Transformation Office was established to guide HSS through a series of strategic initiatives. The Strategic Initiatives Project Manager plays a key role by reporting to the Transformation Office Program Manager and the Transformation Office team, which includes the COO and reports directly to the CEO and HSS executive team. The ideal candidate is confident interfacing with senior clinical/business leadership, optimistic and enthusiastic about the future of HSS, and skilled in project management.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Data analysis – translate findings into action
    • Strategy development – work to establish solutions that meet business goals
    • Strategy implementation – work side-by-side with project counterparts
    • Stakeholder management – balance multiple initiatives simultaneously, be “on call” resource for questions and problem-solving
    • Project tracking – develop and revising a workplan, structure report-outs, prepare for executive team updates

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Experience working on consulting-style transformation projects
    • Experience working on cross-functional teams
    • Strong understanding of strategic and operational considerations for healthcare providers
    • Strong record of leadership and taking initiative
    • Exceptional project management skills, especially for initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills – must be proficient and detail-oriented when conducting data analysis in Excel
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing – must be proficient in building PPT decks
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
    • Ability to influence people, build relationships and collaborate
