A Registered Professional Nurse working within designated HSS physician practice(s) providing for and facilitating outcomes of care for the defined patient population. Applies the nursing process and synthesizes clinical findings that result in optimal goal achievement throughout the continuum of care. Integrates theory, research, and critical thinking in the delivery of care to patients/families and serves as a resource in complex patient and family situations. The practice of the profession of nursing as a registered professional nurse is defined in New York State as diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well being, and executing medical regimens prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Nursing and at least five years experience. A current NYS license, registration and certification in your area of practice are required. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence others are essential.
