    Job Description


    HSS, the world leader in musculoskeletal health, is expanding its footprint in Florida. HSS is opening a comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine facility in West Palm Beach Florida. The new center will offer outpatient orthopedic care including diagnostics services, ambulatory surgery, rehabilitation, and sports performance programs.

    The HSS Florida Executive will be responsible for overseeing all HSS operations and market development in Florida and will function as the lead executive for the new venture.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Oversee the development, launch and successful operation of HSS’s first comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine facility in Florida
    • Help develop and implement Florida market strategy
    • Ensure successful launch consistent with HSS standards of performance and excellence
    • Provide operational oversight of the HSS Florida facility, including supporting recruitment and onboarding, ensuring performance towards financial and operational targets, and other day-to-day operations
    • Partner with the HSS Florida Medical Director to help support medical staff, promote operational excellence, and ensure the highest levels of quality and patient experience
    • Manage relationships and communication with stakeholders across HSS, its partners, and the market, including executives, board members, physicians, and members of the Florida community
    • Translate HSS knowledge, culture, protocols, and patient experience to its Florida operations


    Desired Skills & Experience


    • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in health care
    • 10+ years management experience in orthopedics, ASCs, and/or a related clinical setting
    • Demonstrated track record of success with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

    Supporting Detail


    The HSS Florida Executive will report to the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Service Lines at HSS and will work closely with the leadership teams and other key stakeholders at HSS and its partner organizations.
