A research technician position is available immediately in the group of Dr. Barrat at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Institute as part of the Autoimmunity and Inflammation Program. The ideal candidate for this position has background in immunology and is interested in studies involving innate immunity in the context of human disease. Excellent technical capabilities with primary cell cultures is required. The project will be conducted in collaboration with the Weill Cornell Medical College and the ideal candidate will need to have strong organization skills and interest in multi-center collaboration.
The HSS Institute is part of the “research miles” in New York and specializes in research in rheumatology and orthopedic. HSS is affiliated with and attached to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the Weill Medical College of Cornell University with whom HSS shares many Core Facilities.
The applicants should have a B.S or M.S. in corresponding field and at least 2 years of lab experience.
