  • Overview

    The Systems Analyst functions as technical and information resource supporting audit and Quality Assurance related to the Benefits, HRIS and Financial teams within HR and Finance and IT. This team member provides analysis, support and auditing of data to ensure HR is and maintains compliance with policies, processes and financial controls related to administering benefits in a timely and accurate manner. Proactively develops reports and processes to monitor, reconcile benefit and interface data, payroll or payment data to 3rd party vendors, HR Management or Finance resources.  Through proactive reporting and auditing processes ensures that HR/HRIS is compliant with Corporate IT and Security policies and processes.


    Role and Responsibilities

    • Compile and monitor employee termination data for senior management
    • Develop processes and reports to audit and monitor the scenarios that result in “No Pay” for employees; leveraging Lawson and/or Kronos
    • Develop processes and reports to proactively monitor the Active Directory (AD) Inactivation Process
    • Enhance, monitor and support non-standard Active Directory activation or inactivation (eg-Transfers to Private Offices, Special Hires, Resolution of multiple accounts)
    • Analysis and load of weekly bSWIFT files
    • Analysis of processes that will result in enhancement of and reduction of manual entry of voluntary benefits, retirement (403b) benefits and re-coup processes
    • Maintain technical design for Lawson benefit setup
    • Monitor, review and ensure data quality of new Lawson to bSWIFT demographic file; compare Lawson data to target data destination at bSWIFT
    • Audit and maintain accurate transmission of T1/T2 and TA/TB statuses as it impacts HSS systems and Benefits Terminations
    • Responsible for support of the eTermination form and associated processes
    • Develop and support reports/tools for monthly and quarterly reconciliation of benefits billing, payroll deductions and data integrity between Lawson and bSWIFT
    • Develop reports and tools that support the auditing and monitoring of accurate imputed income
    • Develop reports and tools that support the auditing, monitoring and integrity of Leave of Absence Data and processes.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements


    A BS in Computer Science/Information Systems combined with a minimum of three to five years of experience working in HR, Finance, Accounting etc or some combination thereof as an analyst with a focus on auditing and financial controls;  developing reports, tools and processes to monitor, audit and ensure the quality and integrity of data in multiple systems.  Experience extracting data from multiple sources/systems, combining data in a meaningful manner to analyze, audit and identify discrepancies between varying data sources/systems.   Must be proficient to expert in Crystal, MS Excel and MS Access (Sequel reporting preferred). Proficiency and experience working with Lawson (Infor) or similar HRIS systems and other cloud based software such as applicant tracking, I-9, Performance Management, Talent Management etc.  Ability to analyze data, workflow and processes to identify meaningful trends and data issues.  Recommend and develop new reports and processes to mitigate ongoing errors or risk in Benefits and IT. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate cross functionally with management, audit/compliance and multiple levels within HSS. Demonstrated ability and skills to liaison with 3rd party vendors and communicate business requirements to end users or 3rd parties.


    Preferred Skills


    Proficiency in Lawson HRIS, iCIMS, Halogen is preferred but will accept other similar systems.
